In Passing
A Wonderful film from Hackney Based The Light Surgeons, tracing the journeys of visually impaired people through Manchester City Centre.
This is thought provoking; not just through its brilliant creative concept but also through the content itself. At one point the narrator explains how her sense of navigation can be affected by augmented smells (perfume, or cigarette smoke) and that’s really interesting - do these invisible superfluous layers to supposedly make us “attractive” really have a useful function?
Utterly wonderful film about a 9 yr-old who made an entire arcade out of cardboard boxes.
